Open Days
Every year the School organizes two Open Days. During those days you can meet the staff and teachers of the School and attend short work shops. Information will be given on our website on time. For 2009, Open Days are scheduled on 4 April and 6 September.

 

Eigentijds Festival Vierhouten
In a beautiful nature area at the Veluwe, in the middle of woods and moors, the international Eigentijds Festival (Contemporary Festival) annually takes place in June. Organisations occupied with spirituality, art and nature will present themselves here.
Also, the School voor Sjamanisme will be represented in a tipi camp with workshops, ceremonies and sweat lodges. For those who are thinking about entering the training program of the school, these days (Thursday 11 until Sunday 14 June 2009) give you a good introduction. Basic courses Shamanism
Basic courses Shamanism are suitable for those who want to get to know the School voor Sjamanisme and shamanism in general, as well as for those who wish to deepen their life. For information, contact the secretariat of the school. Do also have a look at the schedule at the top.

Weekend Intensives
Former students and teachers of the school give workshops in which shamanistic practices are deepened. Like the basic courses, summer weeks and drum circles, these weekends are excellent opportunities for experiencing what shamanism implies and in which forms it can be put into practice. These workshops concern a combination of art and dance, coming to terms with loss of loved ones and saying goodbye, ancestral family constellations, working with the medicine wheel, sweat lodges, men’s or women’s groups, vision quest, etc. Also, the School itself organizes two weekends for 3rd and 4th year students, former students and people from outside the school with shamanistic experience, and one weekend for all people within and outside the school who want to connect to shamanism and are looking for deepening.
