Board, staff and year teachers The Foundation School for Shamanism is led by an inspired board and a
fixed staff of co-operators. Below, you will find a short description
of them.

Tineke ten Cate (1948) is chairman of the board of the Stichting School voor Sjamanisme. She is also yearteacher and supervisor of the school. She has her private shamanistic psychological practice. And she also works as a teacher in the Welzijn 18+ section of the Noorderpoort College in Groningen. In her private shamanistic psychological practice, she guides and coaches people. Among other things, by soul retrieval, shamanistic counseling, trance journeys and ancestral family constellations. She is also co-supervising a drum circle once a month in Groningen. On request, she does ceremonies at important events in daily life. Her inspiration lies in working from her heart with visible and invisible forces from the universe and from her own ancestral history. In this way, she commits herself to the greater whole. She also tries to throw a bridge between the western psychology and old wisdom of native people. Inside herself, different lines and energies meet: “blood” of farmers from Drenthe, notables of the Achterhoek, Jewish and Gipsy families. Information: 0596-581158, email: ttcate@xs4all.nl

Margarita Blomski - birddog firechild (1959) is coordinator of the fourth year (the North). She found recognition of her shaman path at the Elfenbank in the nineties. The life forces of the dark, being brought into the light, opened the healed healer path. As an instrument tuned in to Great Mystery, she works as shamanistic counsellor and supervisor. She moves between the powers of the mystician and the magician. In this, becoming aware, authenticity and the self healing power are central. In her partnership Kokopellies with Marjon ‘Mariposa’ den Engelsman, she celebrates and honours life by means of several shamanistic workshops. She is also a Keeper of the Sacred Flame and an artist.

Besides his work and being the treasurer of the School, he dedicates himself to the football club of his son and daughter. Jos Kester (1952) For more than ten years, I am having the opportunity to meet teachers from different cultures and to learn from them. I finished the training “Sjamanisme en Transformatie” at the School voor Sjamanisme, where I was chairman of the board from 2000 till 2004. Since 2001, I have a practice for individual guidance. Together with my wife, Mariët, I share work and care for our three daughters. Information: 070-3801633, website: www.spiritcompany.org Ishi Crosby (1954) His work and passion is “earth

I was fed with fairy tales, stories, music and nature, I have arrived
at a new phase now, after a fascinating journey through adulthood which
gave me two beautiful sons and four grandchildren and my partner for life,
Ishi. Now, the most important thing for me is meeting: really seeing one
another from heart to heart. The joy of recognition, applying my energies
to the World and Mother Earth by means of massage and sound, and networking
with all forms of positive change. I am looking forward to meet you! Taco Blom-Reyneveld (1962) is a gardener, tree caretaker,
and co-founder of the Permacultuurschool Nederland. (Permacultuur is cooperation
with Nature in a healthy and efficient way). He is an ex-student of the
School voor Sjamanisme and followed several other courses and trainings.
Together with his wife, Carolyne, he inspires ‘Tonanzi” with
sweat lodge ceremonies, drum building and other shamanistic activities.
His power lies in Simplicity, Humour, Silence and Deepening. Christina de Kaste (1952) used to be a violoncello
player in several symphony orchestras and a music teacher. She is an acknowledged
music therapist and sound healer, and she works with individuals and groups.
Her work consists of creating beautiful connections between the transpersonal
aspects coming into being via sound and people. The goal is: wanting to
be on earth with more joy and being able to do so. Respect for timing,
simplicity and loving honesty come first. She is a Reiki Master and writer
of the book: “Muziektherapie met klankschalen” (publ. Ankh
Hermes) and of several articles, among others in Bres and in De Natuur
uw Arts. Also, her workshops about dreams, other realities and about connections
like: ”klankschalen en lokai Shiatsu”, “klankschalen
en Tai Chi Tao” make her existence meaningful and colourful. Willem Deetman / Inuksuk (1954) is sound worker, leader of ceremonies (like Sweat Lodge), story teller and shamanistic counselor. In 1990, he came in touch for the first time with healing techniques from the ancient native traditions of America and Europe. Fascinated by their special and effective simplicity, he set out to find living remainders of supposed lost knowledge, inside and outside him self. Via trained healers from different directions, he translated the ancient wisdom that once was ours to the modern, living reality. In De Waterbok, PraktijkWerkplaats voor Sjamanisme, in Assen, he generates and guides trainings and practice stages for present-day walkers along the ancient paths of the shaman. Information: 0592-317282, e-mail: dewaterbok@kpnplanet.nl Concha Garcia Allen is a medicine woman, trained by “Grandmother Guadalupe” and Maria Felix in sacred rituals and ceremonies in the Huichol tradition (Mexico). At this time, she is living in in New Mexico (USA), where she is a respected traditional dancer in a lot of Pueblo’s. Her respect for nature, fire, prayer and dance runs like a continuous thread through her life. Michael Tonihi (1971) is born in Aoteroa (New Zealand). He
is the son of a full-blood Maori mother and a mixes European/Maori father.
He grew up with his Maori grandmother, one of the elders of their tribe.

been living now in Europe for 8 years. He is a very profound student of
the Celtic tradition. He teaches silence, movement and dance, the spoken
word, sound and song, playfulness and rituals. He is grateful to and has
